Woolworths: Acting for the company in securing its position and following the default and external administration of a significant customer enforcing this position.

Harris Scarfe: Acting for the landlord of major tenancies in connection with workout arrangements in the Harris Scarfe receivership.

Hooker Corporation Group: Advising creditor bank as to workout issues and syndicate exposure.

Kraus Group of Companies: Advising as to incidents of Australian insolvency law on international group and financial structure.

Litigation funding agreements: Advising various investors as to implications, terms and effect of these arrangements for shareholder class actions and negotiating terms of same with promoters.

Macquarie Countrywide: Acting in connection with various matters arising from shopping centre developments' delinquent tenants and related security document issues.

Macquarie Bank: Advising on its stock lending procedures, structures and insolvency implications and reviewing loan product documents.

Macquarie Bank: Advising in relation to insolvency issues involving Beaconsfield gold mine and financing arrangements.

Saucony Inc: Advising and acting on dispute with local franchisee, its subsequent receivership, administration and setting aside of deed of company arrangement.

Securitisation Transactions: Advised as regards Australian insolvency and enforcement issues on CBA Medallion Trust 2007-1 (candidate for deal of the year in 2008 Australian Law Awards) and similar predecessor deals for the bank.

Sydney Olympic Park Authority: Advising as to termination of arrangements and legislative changes upon conclusion of Olympics and Homebush related affairs.

South Queensland Crushers: acting for the administrator of the rugby league club and on its subsequent restructuring.

Spedley Group: Acting for the liquidator of Spedley Group of companies advising generally and pursuing numerous recovery actions.

State Bank of South Australia: Acting for the Auditor-General of South Australia on the investigation of the failure of the State Bank of South Australia.

Sub-prime fallout - various: Acting in connection with the companies/funds or their creditors in respect of Absolute Capital, Allco, Basis Alpha, Babcock & Brown, Centro and Lehman Brothers.

Sun Healthcare: Acting for the secured creditor and the receivers of the Sun Healthcare Group of Companies.

Suncorp:  Acted for the bank for many years in connection with its mortgage recovery and enforcement work in New South Wales.

TNT: Acting for the company in long-running dispute with service provider and on insolvency issues.

AGC (Advances) Limited v West: Successfully conducted at first instance and in subsequent appeal the leading case on the Contracts Review Act 1980 (NSW).

Fire Nymph Products Limited v The Heating Centre Pty Limited: Successfully conducted this major case, on automatic crystallisation of floating charges, at both first instance and on appeal.

Australian insolvency law: Ron has also provided expert evidence on in proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court.
