Fran has more than 20 years' property and finance experience at both ends of finance transactions, including negotiation and documentation of loan terms, facilities and securities, restructuring facilities, specialist insolvency advice and enforcement.
Fran has acted for lenders, borrowers and insolvency practitioners, and advised corporate, major banks and other financial services clients in relation to project and asset structuring, finance and lending related issues.
Fran was seconded to a large Australian investment bank, where she worked as in-house counsel in its asset and structured finance team. During this time, Fran worked on the development of asset-based finance products and the development of a number of infrastructure and equipment leasing businesses. Fran has recently rejoined Clayton Utz as a partner after a period in an in-house role in the United Kingdom.
Fran is able to appreciate the risks that need to be identified, and managed in order to develop and sell new products, as well as products developed for more traditional classes of assets.
