Background
Daina Richmond is a special counsel in our Construction and Major Projects practice and the National Director of our Community Connect Program.
As National Director of Community Connect, Daina is responsible for our
Community Involvement program and the
Clayton Utz Foundation.
In her legal practice she has particular experience in government procurements and contracting and private sector financed infrastructure projects. Over the last few years, Daina's work has focused on public procurements of infrastructure procurements of infrastructure facilities and equipment for the Commonwealth Government, the Victorian and NSW Government and the Queensland Department of Transport.
Daina has acted mainly for government in the drafting of tender documentation, evaluation of tenders and drafting and negotiation of contractual documents. She advises government on issues specific to government, including in respect of relevant legislation, statutory powers and functions and administrative and public law.
