Background
Chris McLeod has been a partner in the Melbourne office of Clayton Utz for over nine years.
He acts for significant private and government clients in contentious and non-contentious matters across the entire intellectual property spectrum, including in relation to trade marks/domain names, copyright, patents, designs, passing off and confidential information.
Chris leads our national Advertising and Marketing Law industry group and works with a team of lawyers to provide a one-stop shop for legal issues (including litigation) in the marketing context. His relevant experience includes conducting litigation relating to misleading or deceptive advertisements and drafting and negotiating significant sponsorship and endorsement arrangements and other marketing-related agreements.
Chris also undertakes significant work for clients in the leisure and entertainment (including racing) industries.
