Energy, rail and port projects: Alan has advised on projects in the energy and resource sector, particularly in relation to finance and infrastructure packages on projects including the Newcastle Port Project, the proposed Abbot Point and Dudgeon Point Ports, Hancock Coal Rail Project, Condamine Power Project and Tarong North Power Project.
Infrastructure projects: Alan has advised on many of South East Queensland's recent major economic infrastructure projects including Legacy Way, Airport Link and Northern Busway (Windsor to Kedron), the Clem 7 Tunnel and the Go Between Bridge. He also leads the Clayton Utz team advising on the Business Case and Environmental Impact Study for the proposed Cross River Rail development.
Corporate finance: Alan advises many of the firm's key clients including financial institutions such as Suncorp-Metway Limited, National Australia Bank Ltd, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Bank of Queensland and also many of our publicly listed clients, on a broad range of finance and credit support documents.
Capital markets: Alan advises a number of corporate and banking clients on their wholesale debt capital markets fundraisings, both domestically and offshore.
