Philip is widely recognised as one of Australia's leading private equity lawyers. He specialises in advising many of the largest and most successful private equity fund managers in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
He also advises some of Australia's largest public companies on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures and capital raisings, and has significant expertise advising on foreign investment into Australia.
Prior to joining Clayton Utz, Philip established and led the national private equity practice of another top-tier law firm and was the founding and Managing Partner of a leading corporate law firm which he sold to a major international accounting firm.
