Background
Philip Harrison is a special counsel with considerable experience in public and commercial law. Having held senior positions in the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department and the Office of Parliamentary Counsel, he brings a strong knowledge of government needs to his practice.
Philip has provided significant public law advice in constitutional and administrative law, competition law, the legislative process and statutory interpretation, and has assisted in the development of legal policy and legislation.
Philip also advises Commonwealth clients in their procurement activities, in particular in contracting and tendering. His commercial law experience extends to the airports and aviation, broadcasting, telecommunications, health, ports and energy sectors.
