Taiwan High Speed Rail project: Colin was the Team Leader on the Taiwan High Speed Rail project, where we advised the Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation on construction-related aspects of one of the world's largest build-operate-transfer rail projects.
Design and build contractor: Represented a design and build contractor in High Court and arbitration proceedings concerning design defects and delays in the construction of a leisure complex.
ICC arbitration: Represented a developer of a marina complex in a substantial ICC arbitration held in London and subject to Gibraltar law.
Office development in Docklands: Represented four out of seven Defendants to a High Court action commenced by the lessee of an office development in Docklands. Claims for damages and consequential losses caused by base building defects.
Hong Kong Airport Authority: Colin led a team of lawyers representing the Hong Kong Airport Authority in arbitration proceedings against the Authority arising out of the construction of the Terminal Building.
British Virgin Islands: Advised a British contractor in relation to a turnkey contract for the construction of a gas-fired power station in the British Virgin Islands.
