Land Development Agency, Data Centre / Power Station (2007 - 2008): Acting for the Land Development Agency on the sale of broadacre land by direct grant for the purposes of a data centre and power generation station, having an estimated value of A$1 billion.  Drafting, negotiating and settling the terms of the option deed, contract for sale and related documents, in conjunction with various private and government stakeholders and their advisers.

Molonglo Group companies, acquisition of ActewAGL House (2008): Acting for the buyer on its purchase of a landmark commercial building in the inner-city area of the ACT, the sale being subject to existing and proposed tenancies including a lease back to the seller.  Conducting extensive due diligence in respect of existing and proposed leases; negotiating and settling lease and contract terms with the seller and its representatives.

Commonwealth of Australia - Australian Customs Service, new ACT premises (2007): Acting for Customs as tenant of its new multi-floor premises at 2 Constitution Avenue, Canberra.  Negotiating and settling the terms of the new ACT lease and related carparking licence, including landlord and tenant works, make good obligations, security / restricted area provisions, and green lease provisions.

Commonwealth of Australia - Australian Customs Service, various leases (2008): Acting for Customs as tenant of premises under existing leases in various States.  Reviewing and advising on tenant rights / landlord obligations under the leases, and dealing with landlords on diverse lease issues (such as breach of quiet enjoyment obligations, breach of repair and maintenance obligations).

Deanes Buslines, purchase of Transborder business assets (2008): Acting for the buyer on its purchase of the Transborder business assets, with related finance and premises arrangements.  Negotiating and settling the terms of vendor finance and security documents; negotiating and settling the terms of new leases to take effect from completion of the sale.

Macquarie Bank and Molonglo Group company, New Acton Development (2007, 2008): Acting for the developer/borrower on financial arrangements for the construction of mixed residential and commercial development in the inner-city area of ACT.  Negotiating and settling the facility terms, negotiating and settling the facility and security documents, and drafting of various ancillary documents.
