Local government: Matthew has advised local government authorities on property related aspects of major infrastructure projects. In particular Matthew has been involved in reviewing and reporting on relevant contract documentation and advising in respect of legal risk in relation to potential sites for infrastructure projects.
Government departments: Matthew has advised in relation to numerous aspects of disposal programs for government owned land, the process including the preparation of disposal programmes, due diligence material for sale, drawing of tender and contract documentation and the management of transactions to resolution.
Receiver sales: Matthew has experience in advising and undertaking disposal programmes for receivers and managers including advising receivers and managers in relation to the sale of a significant Queensland resort development, which involved assisting in the preparation of information and disclosure material, preparation of contract documentation and disposal of the resort's assets.
International property developer: Matthew has negotiated and documented disposal agreements in relation to the sale of Queensland-based properties of a major international property development group, involving preparation of comprehensive due diligence material and sales documentation for several complex assets.
Institutional tenants: Matthew advises several national institutional commercial and institutional tenants in respect of operational requirements arising out of their property/leasing portfolios.
