Major medical defence provider: Primary adviser to a major medical defence provider which currently has Hanover Re as its lead reinsurer. Dominic also acts as that client’s representative in its annual meetings in London with its reinsurers.
On behalf of the energy and resources sector: Acting as Counsel on many inquests arising out of accidents on refineries (statutory mine sites), actual mine sites and on overseas registered ships loading refining product at loading facilities.
Medical & dental indemnity: Acted as instructing solicitor in a major dental case which clarified the law in Australia in relation to informed consent.
On behalf of the energy and resources sector: Acted as Counsel at the inquest into the death of five employees and the pilot following a plane crash at a mine site and on numerous deaths on mine sites.
