Background
Bernard Avery is a Special Counsel in the Energy & Resources group with extensive experience in a number of areas of the resources sector. As well as advising clients in Queensland and elsewhere in Australia for many years, Bernard has also been involved in many major projects in the Asia-Pacific region over the last 30 years. He has considerable experience in Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Singapore and Malaysia, and has also acted for clients in Nauru, Vanuatu and the Philippines.
