We have a long established track record for undertaking complex cross-border work and have acted as the international counsel for many of our global clients. We have acted on some of the largest global transactions in the UK, France, Italy and other Eastern European countries. In addition, we have close working relationships with the Magic Circle firms in London and work closely with them on many global transactions. Many of our Partners have worked in the European markets and we have dedicated teams who focus on the UK, France and Italy.

Some of our experience includes:

• acted for Lufthansa Technik AG in relation to its acquisition of an interest in an engine maintenance overhaul business in Australia and the related joint venture and supply agreements with Qantas Airways Limited.
• acted for Email Limited in divesting their Email Metering business, (the manufacturer of leading technology for electrical and gas meters), which involved Ampy Holdings (UK Company), Emwest Products Pty Limited (Australia and its Chinese subsidiary) and the assets of Email Industries Limited (NZ Business).
• acquisition by Finnish listed company Rapala of 100% of the share capital of its Australian distributor, Freetime.
• acted on a major cross boarder structured financing transaction involving the United Kingdom, Australia and Hong Kong.
• acted for Triulzi Engineering SrL, an Italian manufacturer and distributor of plastic-extrusion machinery in a dispute involving the supply of machines to F&T Industries Pty Ltd.
• acted for Suncorp Metway in its London Stock Exchange listed euro-market securitisation of residential mortgages valued at A$2.5 billion.
