Legal Technology Support (LTS) is an in-house consulting group specialising in information management and case support services. LTS comprises experts who combine their diverse skills to solve complex information management challenges. As well as IT professionals, lawyers and paralegals, our LTS team includes data analysts, computer scientists and project managers.

Business Development and Communications
The Business Development (BD) team is responsible for creating and implementing business development strategies that maximise revenue generation from new and existing clients. This may include preparing and developing client plans, exploring opportunities to improve the firm's position in certain market sectors and identifying new work opportunities and emerging product areas.
Our Events team designs, manages and produces events for Clayton Utz staff and clients. These events have various purposes, such as developing client relationships, improving staff morale and providing legal education, and are a critical factor in building and enhancing the firm's external image.
Finance
Our Finance group is responsible for delivering sound financial advice to all areas of the firm. The group includes the Accounting team, which provides financial advice and support by analysing and interpreting the financial and performance results for departments across the firm, and providing input and support for corrective action. The team recommends and, where appropriate, initiates projects or processes to improve the effectiveness of these departments. Our Financial and Performance Reporting team designs and produces reports that provide financial information to assist in business decision making.
Human Resources
The national Human Resources team provides strategic advice and guidance to the business on HR issues and undertakes a range of initiatives to meet the challenges of managing our people. With a presence in each of our offices, the team is involved in all general HR activities, as well as providing a strong, experienced Learning and Development team and specialists in the areas of Remuneration and Benefits and HR Information Systems.
IT
The IT group provides best-practice IT service and support to help our clients conduct business. The group is made up of several specialist teams in areas such as Infrastructure Support, which takes responsibility for new systems once they have been developed and tested. The Infrastructure Development team works on specific projects and provides technical support to other areas within the IT group, as well as presenting and implementing new technologies within the firm. The Projects and Development teams investigate business information systems and the Customer Service team delivers accurate, consistent and detailed support to all IT users across Clayton Utz.
Operations
The Operations team provides a range of national support services to the firm. These include premises and facilities management, office services, secretarial support, word processing services, catering, purchasing and supply, records management and travel. This team ensures local services are delivered at the same consistently high standard across the country.
Practice Management
The Practice Management group is responsible for the design, development, support, and continuous improvement of the firm's systems. This includes time, billing and financial, payroll and HR, budgeting and target monitoring, conflict and risk management automation, client reporting, Diners Club expense capture, management reporting, and records management. It is also responsible for business process improvement initiatives. In particular, the group develops solutions that integrate the firm's many business systems and automate manual processes to improve efficiency and provide a complete practice management environment.
