  • Macquarie Group: legal adviser to seven joint lead managers (Macquarie Capital Advisers, Citi, Goldman Sachs JBWere, JPMorgan, nabCapital, UBS and Westpac) on the 2008 A$600 million convertible preference security for Macquarie Group.

  • Iluka Resources: legal adviser to joint lead managers (ABN Amro, Citigroup) on the 2008 A$330 million accelerated entitlement offer.

  • Suncorp: advised lead manager Citigroup on Suncorp's 2007 $1.17 billion rights issue and advised joint lead managers Citigroup, JP Morgan, Macquarie Capital Advisers and UBS on the 2008 $735 million hybrid offer.

  • Brickworks: advised on its 2008 $165 million buy-back of its reset preference shares.

  • St Barbara: advised Macquarie Capital Advisers as lead manager on the A$120 million RAPIDS entitlement, bookbuild and placement by St Barbara Mines in 2008.

  • Gunns: advised the Joint Lead Managers, Macquarie, Credit Suisse and JPMorgan on the A$335 million entitlement offer by Gunns in 2008.

  • PaperlinX: advised the Joint Lead Managers, Macquarie and Deutsche Bank, on the A$227 million pro rata non-renounceable entitlement offer by PaperlinX in 2008.

  • Hastie: advised Macquarie Equity Capital Markets/Macquarie Equities on the $80 million RAPIDS offer by Hastie in 2008.

  • Future Fund: Legal adviser to Australia's Future Fund (The Australian Government sovereign wealth fund) on its 2007-2008 sell-down of shares of Telstra.

  • Transpacific Industries Group: advised on its 2007 A$347.5 million convertible note issue on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

  • Westpac: legal adviser to Credit Suisse as structurer and underwriter on Westpac's 2007 $1 billion wholesale convertible notes issue.

  • CBA: legal adviser to Credit Suisse as structurer and underwriter on Commonwealth Bank's 2006 $900 million wholesale convertible notes issue.

  • Woolworths: advised Woolworths on its 2006 $600 million retail offer of remarketable notes.

  • Tattersall’s IPO: advised Tattersall’s on its $2.17 billion IPO, one of the largest capital raisings of recent years by market capitalisation.

  • Myer Notes: advised lead manager and underwriter, Goldman Sachs JB Were on the A$225million Myer Notes Issue of August 2006. The deal was widely regarded as a driver of institutional interest in new hybrids.

  • Bank of Queensland: advised Bank of Queensland on its 2009 A$108 million Placement and Share Purchase plan.
