The Clayton Utz Derivatives / Debt group combines the skill sets required to effectively advise clients on  OTC and securitised derivatives, structured products and  tax and regulatory issues in connection with the development and distribution of derivative products.

Our specialist derivatives, debt and equity capital markets teams provide clients with an integrated approach with the necessary skill set to meet their needs across a wide range of transactions. In many of the more complex transactions, team members have been included for their derivatives and capital market skills as part of multidisciplinary teams with a range of practice skills tailored to the particular transaction. These teams have included members drawn from the firm’s leveraged and acquisition finance teams and as needed experts in tax, insolvency law and investment management, real estate and secured transactions as well as securities, bank, commodities, energy, insurance and other regulatory matters.
