The majority of Clayton Utz staff are women. As such, we recognise the importance of having workplace policies that support our women and allow them to advance their careers whilst balancing the competing demands of work and family life.

Flexible work arrangements are no barrier to career progression at Clayton Utz. Over 42 per cent of our female workforce holds senior management roles whilst 20% have flexible work arrangements.   It is common practice for successful women to be promoted while on maternity leave or while working part-time, including to the partnership.

Our Paid Parental Leave, Flexible Work Practices and formal Working from Home policies are just some of the initiatives we have introduced to help foster a flexible and supportive work environment for women at the firm.

In 2009 we formally launched Momentum, our national women lawyers' network to promote professional and personal development and provide client networking and relationship development opportunities for our female lawyers.
